The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit a grass roots level entity operating within educational institutions, is a crucial component of India’s youth development programme.Our college has two units(regular )of NSS. Each unit typically consists of one hundred students volunteer. volunteers work under a designated program officer from the teacher, faculty. Activities organised by NSS unit are diverse and serve as a bridge between the
campus and the community. These activities include organise health and literacy camps, conduct cleanliness camp, plantation drive and blood donation camp. Though these activities, the unit shapes to volunteers into socially responsible citizens. The volunteers learn skills in organization, leadership, cooperation, discipline. During times of natural or man-made disaster NSS Unit also play a crucial role by providing essential support to the community.
