Sociology

The Department of Sociology at Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College for Women is dedicated to providing students with a deep understanding of social structures, human behavior, and the forces that shape societies. The curriculum covers a wide array of topics, including Social Theory, Indian Society, Sociology of Gender, Urban Sociology, Rural Development, and Social Stratification.
