Red Ribbon

Red Ribbon Club of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College for Women, Jhar Sahib (Ludhiana) is a voluntary organization that aims to create awareness among students about HIV/AIDS, blood donation, and healthy lifestyles. The club functions under the guidance of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and the Punjab State AIDS Control Society. Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Rajinder Kaur and Red Ribbon Club Coordinator Harpreet Kaur, various awareness programmes, seminars, rallies, and poster-making competitions are organized regularly. The club encourages students to show empathy and support towards people living with HIV/AIDS and motivates them to adopt safe and responsible behaviour. Through its activities, the Red Ribbon Club spreads the message of love, care, and social responsibility among youth.
